  1. Post Matric Scholarship For Minorities -NSP

    Rate of Scholarship An amount equivalent to Admission and Course/Tuition Fee and Maintenance allowance, subjected to a maximum ceiling. See Instructions for details
    Eligibility Condition a) Should be the First Year student of i. Plus Two/ UG/ PG/ Ph.D Course of Higher Secondary School/ College/ Institutes/ University, which is either a Govt/ Aided/Recognised Unaided Institution. OR ii. 11th Class/Technical/ Vocational Course of ITI/ITC Centres affiliated to NCVT. OR iii. Course, other than those listed in under merit-cum-means scholarship scheme. The names of courses listed under Merit-cum-means scholarship are given in See Instructions for details.
    b. Should belong to Minority Community (Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhists/ Sikh/ Zoroastrians or Parsis).
    c. Should have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/ University Examination.
    d. The Annual Family Income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs
    e. Should not be availing any other Scholarship or Stipend.
    Other Relevant Information
    b. Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family.
    c. The scholarships will be sanctioned in accordance with the criterion laid down by the Central Government.

    State Merit Scholarship -DCE

    Rate and Number of Scholarships:
    Graduation Rs. 1250/- per annum (300 Nos)
    Post Graduation Rs. 1,500/- per annum (150 Nos.)
    Eligibility Conditions:
    Should be a first year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in
    Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments.
    Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
    Family annual income should not exceed 1 Lakh. For Exemption of annual income based on merit, please see the notification.

    Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship-DCE

    Rate of Scholarship:
    Rs. 10,000/- per annum.
    Eligibility Conditions:
    Should be a first year student of Under Graduate or Post Graduate course in Govt/ Aided colleges or University Departments.
    Should belong to BPL family
    Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.

    MGS Renewal

    Rate and Number of Scholarships:
    Under Graduates: Rs. 5,000/- per annum (3,000 Nos).
    Post Graduates: Rs. 6,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
    Professional Courses: Rs. 7,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
    Hostel Stipend: Rs. 13,000/- per annum (2,000 Nos).
    THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HOSTEL STIPEND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOLARSHIP.
    Eligibility Conditions:
    Should belong to MUSLIM , Latin, Converted Christian community and should be a native of Kerala.
    Should be a GIRL student studying for the first year of Graduation or Higher courses in Govt./ Aided Institution.
    students who got admission to Self financing colleges from merit seat are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
    Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
    Family Annual income should not exceed 4.50 Lakhs.
    Those who apply for Hostel stipend should be staying in recognized hostels

    Blind/PH Scholarship -DCE

    Eligibility
    Blind/PH/Deaf students studying in Govt/Aided Arts and Science Colleges, Music Colleges, and Govt/Aided Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary Schools
    Financial Support
    Fee Charges for Blind students with family annual income below Rs. 2.5 lakhs
    Hostel charges for all PH students who are hostellers and whose family annual income is below Rs. 4.5 lakhs/-
    Boarding charges for all PH students who are day scholars and whose family annual income is below Rs. 4.5 lakhs

    Aspire Scholarship-DCE

    The grant is available for minimum period of one month and maximum of four months. The monthly rate of Scholarships within the State will be Rs. 8,000/- and for internships undertaken outside the state will be Rs.10, 000/-. The distribution of The grants shall be in the ratio of 2:3:5 for P.G., M.Phil and Ph.D Courses respectively.

    The scholarship can be held concurrently with any other fellowship/scholarship/ grant.

    Criteria for selection and award of ‘ASPIRE’ Scholarship:

    1)Only P.G./M.Phil/Ph.D students of Kerala University Departments and Affiliated Colleges can apply.
